Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora and often stylized with lowercase letters, such in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. The singer has released a number of high-profile songs as covers, like Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. Her mother had said that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to get noticed, but also make others see their significance within the global community and see how they can benefit from the songs and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. She began playing the piano at age six and creating music when she was nine. Family members didn't even be aware of this until she reached the age of fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never her dream. Her sole passion is to write music. According to her music, is the most efficient means of communicating anything.
