Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and sometimes stylized with the letters in uppercase in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, released in May 2015 by Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry made a splash with her track Runaway. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was discovering a piano in her loft, and becoming fascinated by its music. Parents May-Britt along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as an occupation or pastime but as a way to develop. She began writing her own songs. She cites renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as a love for Bjork's style. After her mom told her that her songs can not only aid in her efforts to get noticed, and also inspire others to see their significance within the global community and see the possibilities for the songs, she decided to begin performing publicly. She began playing the piano when she was six years old and started creating music when she was nine. The family did not have any idea until she was 14. Aurora's fame was not her dream. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. She claims that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
